In What's for dinner?
I can't tell you how many times I have ruined the meal, overcooked, even burned a dish and still they sat to table and enjoyed the dinner, Why? Because I set the table for especially for them and presentation is half the battle.
That's right, make it pretty and they won’t even notice.
Well hopefully they won’t;)
Things to consider adding to your table setting:
Fresh flowers
Little surprises
Themed decorations
Fun dish ware
All these can potentially save a meal, and your marriage;)
Post your favorite table setting!

Every good TTW knows that all events, including Wednesday night dinner, call for the perfect apron!!
In the 1950s and 60s the Hostess Apron was popular. This half apron style was usually made of a daintier fabric, i. e. organdy, lace, satin, silk, cotton lawn. This apron that was worn for "show" and not for actually work. It was also called a Cocktail Apron or Party Apron.
My mother used to tell me and my sisters that if you are throwing a party, make sure you get yourself ready at least an hour before the event, even if there are still things to be done. If you look and feel good, the party will be a success.
When the doorbell rings, just put on a fresh apron, place a clean tea towel on the counter and answer the door.
And SMILE! You are the hostess with the mostest!!
